LIT unlock fear is fake, dip buyers win in January

The LIT token unlocks in late January won't crash the price because there's no big cliff, most holders won't sell, and big buyers are waiting to take any tokens that do get sold.

Result

If held over the last 3 months (Jul 24, 2026 – Oct 23, 2026): +57.6%. Over the same days: BTC +25.4%, ETH +27.5%.

What it holds

  • LIT before the vest, 85% of the money, +67.0% over 3 months: LIT (Lighter). The unlock fear is already in LIT's price, so when January passes without a sell-off, LIT goes up.
  • Cash, 15%.

The plan behind it

Lots of people are scared that a pile of new LIT tokens will hit the market and push the price down. The founder says the tokens come out slowly over three years, not all at once, and the early backers mostly plan to hold. Anyone who does want to sell can sell straight to big partners who already want to buy LIT. If that's true, the fear is already in the price, so buying LIT now pays off when January passes quietly. We keep some cash to buy more if the price dips before the unlock.

The largest remaining fud for ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 is the looming unlocks Vlad very clearly explains they are a non issue as - There is no cliff. Most tokens get a huge 25% unlock on the 1st anniversary but LIT doesn't - The unlocks are actually end of January not end of December as many thought - They've spoken to the cap table and the majority are very long term investors that don't plan to sell - For the small minority that want to sell, they already have large partners that want to allocate to LIT but can't because the current market isn't liquid enough. These large partners can simply buy out the vests from those that want to sell Very good call, this was what we were looking for outside of the robinhood partnership and regulation stuff note: dcf cap holds

What would prove it wrong: Sell if early backers start dumping big amounts of unlocked LIT on exchanges after late January and the price can't recover.

FAQ

Can I make one from my own idea?

Yes. Write what you believe in plain words at https://f.xyz/create. fxyz asks a couple of questions, builds the portfolio and shows how it would have done over the last 3 months.

Can I turn a post on X into a theory?

Yes. Reply to the post and tag @fxyzai. It tests the view in the post and replies with the 3-month result and a link.

What can it trade?

Stocks (Tesla, Apple, Nvidia), crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana), pre-IPO companies (OpenAI, Anthropic), indices (Nasdaq 100, S&P 500), commodities (gold, silver, oil, copper) and currencies (EUR/USD, USD/JPY). One theory can mix them, and bet for or against any of them.

How does it react to news?

On each check it reads the last two days of news on its biggest holdings and says whether the idea still holds. It can make one small change at a time: trim or drop one holding by up to 5 points. On autopilot the change waits 10 minutes so the owner can skip it; otherwise it asks first.

How do I run it with real money?

For real money, tap Make it mine, open your copy and choose Use real money, with an exchange connected: Hyperliquid, Lighter, Lighter (Robinhood), Backpack, Pacifica or Binance. The money stays in your own account there. fxyz can place trades, but it can never withdraw.

Can the AI get it wrong?

Yes. fxyz's AI turns the idea into holdings, and it can get that wrong: add a coin or stock that doesn't fit, or miss one that does. Check the holdings before you put money in. In your own copy, ask its chat to add or drop any of them.

What do the 3-month numbers mean?

What $100 would have done holding this mix over the last 3 months, at real prices. It is a what-if, not a record: past or simulated results are no promise of future ones, and nothing here is investment advice.
